:rolleyes:This write up may refer to Indore[MP] but in India there are several Indores like this Indore. The state of affair is not different from this Indore. Corruption is every where and Medical department is more contegous to it. Hear the story of Indore:-

It was very unfortunate and surprising to suspend Deal Medical College,Indore. Perhaps it is the only College in M.P. which can claim to have education standard.Secondly it is not the Dean or the Supdt. of the hospital who actually manage the ground work affairs of the hospital but the administrative staff. It is a well known fact that in any govt. department the staff of any rank does not work without bribe. M.Y. Hospital should also not be exception. The class 3 and 4 staff in M.P. has gone out of bounds and the unionism has created further problems. In Indore the same Indians are working in private hospitals and the management there is best. Why it cannot be so in MY Hospital and other govt. hospitals.

The corruption has gone so high that the most part of the budget is grabbed by the bureaucrats and the politicians. It is a fact for which no evidence is required. Out of date equipments are knowingly purchased and the medicines purchased by the govt. has the same history. One cannot imagine that such things can happen without the knowledge of the ministers and the secretaries concerned.
Unfortunately the politicians holding office have direct links with private hospitals .The reason for winding up of the MPSRTC was also because of the reason that few ministers had direct links with private operators.

In admissions to post graduate courses huge corruption is done. I know a case in which 4 MBBS graduates were selected for post graduate courses but all of a sudden their admition was cancelled and some others were admitted to the courses. Thereupon a write was filed and after 4 years the High Court gave direction to consider their case but they could not be admitted in fresh forth coming batches. Perhaps the C.M. must not be aware of the fact but it is reality. Who should be blamed for this?who should feel ashamed?

No sufficient funds are being provided for this hospital even for maintainance and other sundry works. For every requirement the Dean and the Supdt. has to look to the govt. and due to procedural delays works cannot be carried out.

The junior doctors are not treated with due honour by the govt. Govt. should remember that doctors are not just ordinary govt.servants but they work as experts and therefore govt.and public should have solicitude and affection for doctors. If it is done remember that the doctors will give positive response to the public in general. The govt. never gives proper attention to their genuine demonds. Therefore for this reason also work in hospitals suffers.

During the regime of Arjun sing and thereafter in the regime of Digvijay sing the senior doctors resigned from their services due to the political game about private practice and whole structure of the health services was toppled down.

What to say of public. Any govt. in India has now lost control over law and order situation and public have left respecting law and has taken the law in its own hand and believe in hooliganism and hullabaloo-ism. Every now and then they quarrel with the doctors and on occasion they also give them beating alleging that the doctors were careless in treating patients. Is this the way to deal with the public officers and servants? They should ask them self did they brought the patient in time or in a critical stage.

The reality is this that the Medical and educational services should be made autonomous so that they may function well without the interfernce of the bureaucrats and the politicians. This will make the job of the doctors honourable.

The most crucial point is that the recruitment of doctors and other important staff is not being made in time in any hospitals and Medical College in M.P. In the name of reservation and back log the posts are kept vacant and public has to suffer for it and the doctors working are blamed .This all is done at the cost of vote back politics. It is shameful on the part of the govt.

There was recent reports submitted by the World Bank regarding massive mismanagement of funds which was allocated to cure the lethal dieases like AIDS. It was found that whatever the fund allocated to improve the physical conditions of AIDS patients, was eaten by several authorities in association with AIDS corporation and NGO being operated in India. The fund was allocated to purchase of sophistcated machines to cure the AIDS dieseaces of the patients, but it was found that whatever the machines which were procured are of a substandard quality. On the top of that when world bank offered to give financial assistance, several bogus NGO's were emerged to grab the good chunk of fund allocated to cure aids, which had indirectly deprive sincere NGOs who were working to cure the AIDS patients. It was found several high profile greedy Politicians as well as authorities in relation to medical staff were involved in mismanagement of funds.

:rolleyes:Dear kent, you are certainly aware of so many facts I like to know that your writings have right reasonings.Recently on <india forum> to a news item on the same subject I wrote few lines that the real purpose cannot be achieved by any govt and NGOs as they together eat money and few money is spent on media to purchase its voice in their favour. Family planning, AIDS,child marriages are some subjects on which social awareness is necessary but that is not done.

Subject: Forwarded Message: Information which can benefit your family & friends

Dear All,

This is a new theory which has come to my knowledge very recently and I thought that I should also share with you all.

A few days back my Friends Father- in- law was admitted in a nursing home due to severe chest pain.

He had an attack in 1997 and was undergoing normal treatment.

Due to the sudden pain just 15 days back we once again got him admitted in a private nursing home at Kandiwali, Mumbai.

The doctors later suggested for Angiography.

We conducted the Angiography at Hinduja Hospital and knew from the reports that he has multiple blockages.

The doctor told that he cannot undergo Angioplasty due to several blockages but suggested "By Pass Surgery".

The same day evening we bought him home since the doctor suggested that his heart is very weak and we can perform the by-pass only after 15 - 20 days.

In the mean time we were discussing this issue with our relatives and friends, we got this new information from one of our family friends.

There is a new therapy in the market which is known as - Chelation Therapy. Or Calation Therapy.

According to this therapy any patient who has to undergo by-pass need not undergo the same.

The patient is given appx. 18 bottles of blood where in some medicines are injected along with it.

The blood cleans the system and removes all the blockages from the heart.

The no. of bottles may increase depending upon the age factor and health of the patient.

The cost of the blood per bottle would be appx. Rs.2,500/- The treatment takes of appx. 1 month.

There are only 4 doctors in India and one of them is Dr.Dhananjay Shah at Malad (Mumbai) another at Karnataka.

He has a list of patients who had to undergo by-pass from Lilavati, Hinduja and other major hospitals but after undergoing the above treatment they are absolutely fine and leading a normal life.

I give below the Doctor's details for your info:

Dr. Dhananjay Shah.
Hospital Tel: 0091-22-2889 2089.
Mob: 98194 39657.
Email: shahdhananjay@rediffmail.com

Kindly pass on the message to the people you know and one can save huge amount of money, time and risk of undergoing the operation.

Thanking you.

With best regards,

Dear all,
This mail was circulated few months back.
And after a few days There was a detailed report about this from one of the leading cardiologist saying that it is not a proven method.
So please don't get carried away about these messages wich are not from authentic sources. Only authorized doctors and cardiologist can give such information. Also please don't forward informations on such serious issues involving the life of potential patients unless it is from authorized source with clear proof.
Thanks and Regards.

From: "Ahamed Imam" Tells You About a Tummy Tuck
Most people who decide to have a tummy tuck do so for cosmetic reasons such as they have an abundance of loose, saggy and stretched skin in their abdominal area that bothers them a great deal. However there are instances where people have a tummy tuck in order to repair abdominal muscles that are weak and are causing the person to have health problems such as constant back pain. When a person has a tummy tuck because of weak muscles it is considered to be reconstructive surgery instead of cosmetic because it has to do with the proper functioning of the body as opposed to aesthetics only. When a tummy tuck is for cosmetic purposes it is unlikely that health insurance will pay for it however when it is done for reconstructive purposes the insurance company might pay for the bill partially or in some cases in full. It is important to realize that tummy tuck surgery is not meant as a method for weight loss and it is not recommended for extremely overweight individuals. Instead a tummy tuck is best suited to individual of a normal weight who has some loose, stretched skin they wish to get rid of. Tummy tuck surgery may be beneficial for women who have developed baggy folds of skin in their abdominal areas due to childbirth or weight loss and also women who have abdominal muscles that have been weakened due to multiple pregnancies. This surgery is also helpful for both men and women who find that despite following a healthy diet and a conventional weight loss plan they still have a great deal of fat and loose skin on their abdomens. In order to have liposuction done on the abdomen, an individual must have skin that is elastic enough to bounce back and if not then the loose, saggy skin will be better suited to a tummy tuck procedure. The tummy tuck procedure is one that older individuals often like to undergo due to the fact of their age and being a little overweight can cause abdominal muscles to be weaker and/or there can be loose and sagging skin on the abdomen. There are some potential patients of tummy tuck surgery who will need to wait awhile before they are able to undergo this type of procedure. People who are overweight or obese need to wait until they lose a great deal of weight and then wait a while longer for their weight to stabilize before they are deemed fit to have the surgery. Women who want to have another baby should wait until after they have done so before having the tummy tuck procedure. This type of surgery should not be undertaken until a woman has finished having children. Tummy tucks are one of the top five most popular of all types of cosmetic surgeries. In the United States from the years 1997 until 2001 the amount of tummy tucks being performed jumped 72 percent.
